The FaQtory is proud to include The Mosaic Company's Belle Plaine Plant in their Canadian client list. To start, we have been called in to develop and produce brandscaping to enhance their plant tour experience.

Mosaic is the world’s leading producer and marketer of concentrated phosphate and potash, two of the primary nutrients required to grow the food the world needs. Their business engages in every phase of crop nutrition development, from the mining of resources to the production of crop nutrients, feed and industrial products for customers around the globe. Their customer base includes wholesalers, retail dealers and individual growers in more than 40 countries. Mosaic operates a potash solution mine in Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan that produces Muriate of Potash (MOP), including Fine, Standard, Coarse, Ag Granular, HQ Granular, Special Granular and Water Softener.

The Belle Plaine Plant has been doing more and more plant tours for their clients, and although the tour is very interesting, it can be a little overwhelming because of how much there is to take in. The FaQtory is helping to enhance this experience through brandscaping. From billboard signs approaching the plant on Highway #1, to bringing life to the brand as you approach the parking lot, giving an overview of values, focus and products as you enter the reception, to a very intuitive touch screen kiosk that explains the step-by-step process of how they produce their product and what their products are used for, as well as a 3D aerial wall that shows the main tour destinations.

This is a work in progress; we are partway through the exterior installation and have started on the interior work. We’ll be posting the full project to our Portfolio when it is complete, but for now, we are sharing some photos of the install.

The 4 Disciplines of Execution™ is a Business Execution Solution offered by FranklinCovey. It provides the principles, skills and tools necessary to execute on key goals in the midst of the ‘whirlwind’, also known as ‘the day job’ – all of the work, energy and attention necessary to keep an organization running.

The FaQtory was called in to help FranklinCovey create a 9-minute promotional video for The 4 Disciplines of Execution called ‘Move Your Middle’. It was targeted specifically at managers and leaders in multi-unit operations such as hotels, hospitals, government agencies and businesses with multiple locations. The video centers around the message that if a business or organization is able to change the behavior of it’s average or middle performing employees, that it will have a real impact on their bottom line.

The video has received an overwhelmingly positive response and the message and visuals are resonating. Chris McChesney (Global Practice Leader for The 4 Disciplines of Execution) is so passionate about The 4 Disciplines of Execution and the positive change that it can bring to businesses and organizations — it is a true pleasure working with him and his team.

People are the most important resource in your company, and to engage them in your growth is what forward thinking companies do.

Employees look; they see; they know! There are conversations that happen many times in a week where your people use their vivid imagination to dialogue about what your company could do and how those things might make your company better and stronger.

The question remains, are you using your employees minds as well as their hands? Ask them, they’d love to tell you. They’ll let you know how your customers think, what they’re feeling, and how adjusting your product or service with a slight twist will solidify your market position even more! Are you willing to let others teach you what you don’t know you don’t know?!
