This week’s challenge: be the quickest to pull out the papers sandwiched between a tower of 4 plastic cups, leaving the cups neatly stacked.

It's all in the wrist!
In groups of three, we raced to move on to the next round. Only the fastest of each heat would advance. Steady hands and quick reflexes were our greatest allies. Some cup towers were stacked in seconds, while other’s tumbled.
The competition was fierce, but in the end, Dian dominated for a second week in a row, walking away with another win. Can she make it three in a row? Until next recess…
Just about everyone made this recess, I think everyone needed a break.

Steady as she goes
Challenge this week was to place a popsicle stick in your mouth and balance 6 dice one on top of each other.
Everyone one was paired up and first to do it moved on to the next round. This was harder for most than it sounds. Only 3 people moved on. Many had too much coffee beforehand.
Second round was the same thing, but who could do it the fastest.
Dian seemed to walk away with this challenge (she manged to stack 8 dice with little effort). In fact the lady’s seem to be winning the majority of the recess challenges. I might have to rethink this!
Sam Gagner of the Edmonton Oilers ties Wayne Gretzky’s record of 8 points in one game for this team!
Something that seems so rare, but many people strive for in sports, work and life. Obviously not scoring goals, if not sport but having days where it seems every is going your way.
I know I have had some really good days, weeks and months, but the hardest thing to do is keep the flow going “staying in the zone”, so to speak. You need to avoid the distractions and keep working at the basics and doing them properly.
On Feb 2nd, 2012 against the very good Chicago Blackhawks, Sam Gagner found the zone. It seemed that every time he touched the puck that something good was about to happen. This is not luck! I’m sure if you asked Sam about how much time he invested before ever reaching this great accomplishment, he would say countless hours.
The same goes for marketing your business. You have to work at it ,do all the basics and little things right and some days you may find yourself in the zone.
Your goal should be too strive for more days in the zone than not.
